Those selling bullion products to Northwest Territorial Mint are responsible for all shipping and handling costs. We can assist in making shipping arrangements, however. Please call our bullion agents who can assist you. Some restrictions may apply.

Seattle Area Customers
You may deliver your precious metals to us in person if you wish. No appointment is necessary. Simply stop by our facility located in Auburn, WA. The Contact Us link contains a map and driving instructions.
Our hours of operation are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (M-F).
We are always looking for new inventory and do accept trade-ins. You may sell some of your assets purchased at higher levels to realize a capital loss and then purchase a similar product, but different enough to avoid the IRS wash sale rule. This allows you to keep your position and realize a capital loss at the same time. Please consult your tax advisor before making bullion investment or liquidation decisions.
Sale Process
Upon confirmation of your sale to us, we provide you a confirmation number. In some cases when buying back large dollar amounts, a 10-15% transaction fee may be required at the time of booking. This fee will be returned, with payment when the transaction is completed. The customer is responsible for covering any market losses should the order be cancelled when the market price drops. We mail payment the following business day after receiving your items. Upon request, we will send the check overnight to you for a $35 fee, deducted from your payment.
Packaging to Ship to Us: Our Guidelines
We highly recommend that you review the link above before packaging your shipment. Also register and fully insure your package, and include a detailed contact packing slip with your name and phone number. When you call us and confirm your order, we will give you specific instructions on where to ship items.
Price Lock
We indicate prices on our website, but market movements may occur more rapidly than updates allow. Because precious metals prices change by the minute, all orders must by placed by telephone so that prices can be locked in at the prevailing market. Prompt shipment is required; metals must be postmarked or shipped within two days of locking your price.
Purchase Order Cancellation Policy
When you sell your metals to us, you enter into a binding contractual agreement with Northwest Territorial Mint to ship all of the agreed precious metals to us. Should you wish to liquidate the trade, or you do not ship the metals within two days, Northwest Territorial Mint will liquidate your position based on the prevailing market purchase price at the time of cancellation. You will be liable for any difference in the event of a market loss.
Consignments
We do accept consignments on occasion. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss what you have in mind.
Confidentiality
We keep all transactions confidential, and do not report to any 3rd parties, except to satisfy government cash reporting requirements for dealers under federal regulations.
